Additional Information: This lot features Books and Jar, a platinum print by acclaimed Japanese photographer Tomio Seike, celebrated for his refined still-life imagery and mastery of hand-printed fine art photography. Executed in the platinum process, the photograph displays Seike’s signature minimalist aesthetic, using natural light to create a quiet balance of texture, light, and shadow. The reverse bears the artist’s signature along with the notation “HG12318.” The print is numbered 4/15, indicating it is the fourth impression from a strictly limited edition of fifteen, and is further marked 2AP, denoting two additional artist’s proofs reserved outside the numbered edition. An accompanying inscription stating “Limited Negative” signifies that the master negative was intentionally restricted after production of the edition, preserving the rarity and collectability of the work.
