Additional Information: This pair of vintage Japanese framed metal relief etchings depicts two iconic Japanese landscapes rendered in copper, silver, and gold tones with finely engraved raised details. Created in the Chokin-style commonly associated with mid-20th-century Japanese export art, the scenes feature metallic relief work enhanced with hand-applied colored accents.

One artwork depicts a traditional torii gate standing in calm coastal waters, reminiscent of Itsukushima Shrine, with mountains, pine trees, and a shoreline village in the background. The second portrays Mount Fuji overlooking a peaceful bay with traditional sailing boats, a village along the shore, and delicate cherry blossoms framing the scene.

Both artworks are presented under glass with off-white matting in matching black lacquer-finish wood frames accented by gold Greek-key inner borders. While executed in the Chokin style, these pieces have not been verified as traditional handcrafted Chokin works and should be considered decorative examples that may be later reproductions or Japanese export art. They remain attractive display pieces celebrating classic Japanese landscape imagery.
